About the video
A detention order is not the end of criminal proceedings; it is often the beginning of a new stage.
The video briefly explains whether a detention order can be challenged, how an objection works and how effective it is, where and how it is lodged, and how the higher courts approach the matter. Detention is a protective measure, not a punishment; a detention order does not mean that the person is guilty.
