In this edition we have added to the book the examinations we have set since the fifth edition, together with their answer keys. We have tried to update the solutions, in particular by working the amended legislation into the relevant places. My esteemed departmental colleague Assoc. Prof. Dr. Şaban Cankat Taşkın, who gave permission for the examination questions, practical exercises and answer keys that we prepared together for the Criminal Procedure Law course to be published in the book, appears as co-author from this edition onwards.

This also brings the book into line with our book Criminal Procedure Law (Ceza Muhakemesi Hukuku). We carried out this updating and correction work together with Trainee Lawyer Güldane Kadaş, formerly our student and now our future colleague. We thank her very much for her efforts. Any errors and omissions are ours as the authors. We hope that the book will be useful to everyone interested in it, above all to our dear students.
