About the video
“A secretly made audio recording can sometimes be used in court, and can sometimes constitute a crime.” Is secretly recording a conversation always a crime? More importantly, can the recording obtained be used as evidence in court?
The answer to this question does not concern the privacy of private life alone. Depending on the circumstances of the specific case, • the confidentiality of communications, • the recording of conversations between persons, • the privacy of private life, • the principles of obtaining evidence lawfully must be assessed together.
In this video I briefly explain the basic legal framework on the subject.
