On the occasion of the investigation into a crypto asset trading platform, the distinction between the offences of fraud and theft and the legal nature of such platforms were dealt with. The assessment of the act in terms of the offence of aggravated fraud under the first paragraph of Article 158 of the Turkish Criminal Code (TCK) and the jurisdiction of the assize court (ağır ceza mahkemesi) over the trial were addressed.
