Abstract

At a time when AI entities have entered every area of our lives, we have, in parallel with developments in technology, moved into a period in which this statement alone in fact falls short of describing the situation we are in. The reason is not only that artificial intelligence (AI) has entered every area of our lives but also that we ourselves have accepted AI into every area of our lives. Especially of late, we make the fullest use of the developments that make it easier for us to carry out every kind of activity and of the conveniences they provide, and we have reached a point where we can hardly do our work without using the benefits of these technological developments. Humans are becoming ever more intertwined with software equipped with AI algorithms and with AI entities that grow more advanced by the day.
This in turn results in AI software and robots having an effect on people’s sexual lives. One study has found that the great majority of technological developments, such as spacecraft and nuclear weapons, were triggered by wars, but that the area in which these developments have been most used and drawn upon is sexuality and sex. It is a known fact that developments in technology and science gained great momentum particularly in the period between the two wars. Since the day they began to develop, AI systems and robots have likewise been used, through various means, for the purpose of satisfying people’s sexual feelings.
