The article examines the offence of stalking in Article 123/A, which was added to the Turkish Criminal Code No. 5237 (TCK) by Article 8 of Law No. 7406 of 12 May 2022. It discusses the need for the provision, the international instruments and the strengths and weaknesses of the provision; the offence is broken down into its elements and assessed from a normative point of view.
