This work was written in Turkish. The summary on this page is a translation; the citation gives the original title in parentheses.

The study deals with how the Turkish Code of Obligations No. 6098, the Code of Civil Procedure No. 6100 and the Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102 regulate developments in the field of IT (such as the electronic signature, online general assembly meetings and service of documents by e-mail). It examines the risks that arise where these innovations are misused in a way that constitutes an offence, and the consequences in terms of criminal law.
